• Establishes template of tasks to perform a given
  capability area Facilitates capabilities based
  readiness assessment through DRRS
• Link JCAs to joint training through Joint
  Training Information Management System (JTIMS)
• Link JCAs to future Joint Lessons Learned
  Information System (JLLIS)

Note Joint Force Projection tier 1 JCA was
added by a 24 Aug 2006 JROC decision. The
supporting tier 2 JCAs are the initial draft to
facilitate the JCA baseline reassessment
scheduled for calendar year 2007.

• 4,490 total mappings (UJTL Tasks to JCAs)
• 894 UJTL tasks mapped (93 of UJTL Tasks)
• 206 Tier 2 JCAs mapped
• 34 Tier 2s not mapped
• - No UJTL tasks directly related
• - UJTL tasks exhausted by capability area
  subordinate to the Tier 2
• Tasks associated with many capabilities reside in
  the Service task lists
• Nuances of Tier 2s not understood by mapping team
