A. Bronchitis an inflammation of the bronchial
tubes caused by infectious agents such as
bacteria.

B. Asthma a condition in which the bronchial
tubes become constricted because of tissue
swelling brought on by allergic reaction.

C. Emphysema a general deterioration of the
lung structure, which can lead to decreased lung
efficiency. Emphysema appears to be more common
in people exposed to high concentrations of air
pollutants (including smoke from tobacco
products).
