Conya - Change of Management in September 2007

- Change of Management introduced a new shorter
time-frame for visitations, normally from Monday
evening to Friday noon - Team specialists are now aimed primarily at their
areas of expertise - Time-frame to a decision by the JEC /ECOVE
- is now less than 6 months.

- New SOPs applied since January 2008
- New Indicators have to be approved in Copenhagen,
but can be applied in 2008 irrespective of
whether the SER was prepared to the Old or New
SOPs - Indicators should only be used as a guide and are
not determinative

- Due recognition of the value of the SER is
assigned, since it is now an integral part of the
Final Report, the latter now extending to approx.
30 pages only. - JEC/ECOVE is now able to assign approval,
conditional approval or non-approval, depending
on specific circumstances

- The Evaluation System exists for the EAEVE
individual members - It gives a picture of how the training at any one
establishment meets at least the criteria laid
down in Directive 2005/36/EU - It gives an idea as to how one
faculty/school/university compares to peer
establishments in Europe

- The Evaluation System often offers the individual
establishment a concrete means of stimulating
necessary investment from the various
governmental departments, which finance the
operation
