• World- Ego, pride, looking good in front of
  others, position in society, materialism, fitting
  in

• Flesh- Satisfying that which cannot be satisfied,
  sensual, what my eyes can see and my flesh can
  feel

• How can I tell?
• Enemy- Worshiping the world around me, the
  flesh, traditions and religion, my preferences
  over those of the God who created me. Being
  spiritual without being a Christ-follower

• The voices of the Big 3 always pull me away from
  God, causing separation

• You gotta make something of yourself in this
  life. You gotta make a name for yourself
• I wasnt called to make a name for myself. I was
  called to live in such a way as to spread the
  name of Jesus

• If only you had more money or a bigger house, a
  better car...
• You cant serve God and money- Jesus

• If you want the acceptance of others, you gotta
  put up a front, act like youre something youre
  not
• God didnt know what he was doing when he made
  me like I am. The moment I put up an image of
  me thats not true to who I am, I fall into
  hypocrisy

• You dont want your friends/co-workers know
  about your faith- theyll think youre weird.
  Talk about everything else, but not your faith
• If you deny me before men, Ill deny you before
  my father in heaven- Jesus

• Get what you want in religion. Pick and choose
  which parts of Gods Word youll follow. Want
  church to be what you want it to be. Who cares
  if its what God wants?
• God calls me to deny myself, carry a cross and
  follow him

• Be upset, condemn, find faults, complain, put
  down...
• I have learned to be content whatever the

• Do everything without complaining or arguing
