JSLIST Chemical Suits

• DSCP and JSLIST PM

Radio Frequency Identification is the automatic
identification data capture  that uses radio
waves to transfer ID info to and from asset tags

• OSD has decided they will be an early implementer
  of RFID
• Mandate use on pallet by FY 05
• Vendors responsible for RFID equipment / software
• DLA and Army G-4 working on test case using Chem
  Suit
• Phase I completed Jun 04 shipments tracked from
  vendor to depot
• Phase II began Jul 04 shipments tracked from
  depot to customer
• Stock moving thru system with traceability
