classroom, by securing a sufficient supply of new
teachers and effective continuing professional
development - Ongoing workforce reform in schools to secure
effective staff deployment that addresses local
needs so teachers, schools and children realise
the benefits - Closer cooperation and integration of schools and
childrens services to meet the needs of children
and families - Support for the development and roll out of
extended schools
3And TDA is responsible for
- Increasing the number and quality of science,
technology, engineering and maths teachers - Leading on the development of a new qualification
for teachers the masters in teaching and
learning - Supporting special educational needs and
disability training for the workforce - Providing training and development opportunities
to support staff - Supporting the implementation of the national
agreement
