Flexible Printed Circuits (FPC)
  • Polar has modern Roll-to-Roll automatic printing
    facility to print conductive traces on
    substrates.
  • Our FPCs are used to monitor temperature and
    voltage for EV battery packs.  In place of
    conventional wire harness, flex offers a lighter
    solution taking up less space and potentially
    for distribution of control electronics onto a
    smart harness.

Biomedical Sensors
Working Principle
  • Glucometer strip electrodes are crucial
    components for blood glucose monitoring.
  • They function by measuring the electrical
    conductivity of a blood sample.
  • When a blood droplet is applied to the test
    strip, glucose reacts with an enzyme on the
    strip.
  • This reaction generates an electrical current.
  • The glucometer measures this current.
  • The glucometer then converts the current reading
    into a blood glucose concentration.
  • These electrodes ensure accurate and reliable
    blood glucose measurements, a critical feature of
    glucometer strips.
