About us

• Jumeira Baccalaureate School (JBS) is an
  international school serving students from
  pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in Jumeira
  District, Dubai City, UAE. It is a private
  institution managed by Taaleem - one of the
  biggest education providers in the Middle East. 
• JBS is a fully authorized IB World School,
  certified to offer the IB Primary Years Programme
  (PYP), the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP),
  the Diploma Programme (DP), and
  the Career-related Programme (CP) for students
  from Pre-KG to Grade 12.
• The Knowledge and Human Resources Authority
  (KHDA) is an educational quality assurance
  authority in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In
  Dubai, they are responsible for the growth,
  direction, and quality of private education and
  learning. Throughout the years, they have

IB CURRICULUM

• Jumeira Baccalaureate School (JBS) is a prominent
  educational institution located in Dubai, United
  Arab Emirates. It is renowned for offering the
  International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum,
  which is recognized worldwide for its rigorous
  academic standards and holistic approach to
  education. JBS provides students with a
  comprehensive and well-rounded learning
  experience, fostering intellectual, emotional,
  and social growth.
• The IB curriculum followed at Jumeira
  Baccalaureate School covers all educational
  stages, from the Primary Years Programme (PYP)
  for students aged 3 to 12, to the Middle Years
  Programme (MYP) for students aged 11 to 16, and
  finally, the Diploma Programme (DP) for students
  aged 16 to 19. Each program is designed to cater
  to the specific developmental needs of students
  at different stages of their educational journey.
• The Primary Years Programme (PYP) at JBS focuses
  on nurturing students' curiosity, creativity, and
  critical thinking skills. It encourages students
  to become active learners, developing their
  understanding of various subjects through
  inquiry-based approaches. The PYP curriculum

  The PYP aims to develop well-rounded students who

• In the Middle Years Programme (MYP), Jumeira
  Baccalaureate School continues to emphasize
  inquiry-based learning and a comprehensive
  educational experience. The MYP builds upon the
  foundation laid in the PYP, further developing
  students' critical thinking, communication, and
  intercultural understanding. Students explore
  eight subject groups language and literature,
  language acquisition, individuals and societies,
  sciences, mathematics, arts, physical and health
  education, and design. The MYP also incorporates
  the development of essential skills, such as
  research, collaboration, and self-management.
  This program prepares students for the challenges
  of the Diploma Programme while fostering their
  personal and academic growth.
