Derek Schuelein earned a Bachelor degree from
Pennsylvania State University, completed his
Master degree from C.U.N.Y. Lehman College and
completed a PhD. in Educational Leadership from
Manhattanville College. Derek Schuelein holds a
professional certification in School Building
Leader, Professional Certificate and permanent
certification in Social Studies (7-12).

Derek Schuelein has been an active member of
multiple organizations, such as the Association
for Supervision and Curriculum Development
(A.S.C.D.) and the National Association for
College Admissions Counseling (N.A.C.A.C.).

Derek Schuelein has served in various
administrative positions at many organizations,
including Blind Brook High School Blind Brook
Middle School, Lindenhurst High School, and Pupil
Personnel Services. In addition, Derek Schuelein
is currently serving as a principal at Rye High
School.
