Derek Schuelein has always been passionate about
serving in the education sector. He fulfilled his
passion by earning a Doctorate in educational
leadership. He hired and mentored middle school
and high school faculty to drive improvements in
the system.

Derek Schuelein finalized teacher observations
and evaluations to increase the productivity of
staff members. He represented the school at
multiple events and supervised all academic,
athletic, and extracurricular programs for
different grades.

Derek Schuelein has commendable knowledge of
leading career assessment tools and effectively
using them. In addition, he has excellent
organizational skills and can effectively manage
and prioritize workload alongside a flexible and
adaptable approach to the job.

Principal for Rye High School. Derek Schuelein
always participated as a panelist at
Manhattanville College New Teacher Panel
Discussion in 2017 and a presenter at Molloy
College Student Teacher Workshop in 2012.
