  • Instead of feeling real love or trust toward
    their partner, they often feel emotional hunger.
  • Frequently looking to their partner to rescue or
    complete them.
  • Although theyre seeking a sense of safety and
    security by clinging to their partner, they take
    actions that push their partner away.

  • Anxious because they can never predict when and
    how their care givers will respond to their needs
  • These children display considerable distress when
    separated from a parent or caregiver
  • but do not seem reassured or comforted by the
    return of the parent.

  • Become greatly distressed when parents leave
  • Do not appear comforted when parents return
