    bridges across the world. In fact, some of the
    countries are known for their iconic bridges.
    Well, the United States which is also known as
    one of the most powerful countries across the
    world is facing an infrastructure crisis for the
    past few years.
  • In fact, the American Society of Civil Engineers
    (ASCE) found Americas infrastructure defunct.
    This country has earned a cumulative grade of C-
    . Well, things are getting improved in the
    United States and the credit goes to the
    public-private partnership or PPP. This is an
    agreement between a private bridge infrastructure
    company and the government in order to resolve
    the infrastructure crisis of the country.

Union Bridge (Waterford Bridge)
  • This was a wooden bridge constructed in 1804 by
    Theodore Burr. Union Bridge connects the New York
    tows to Lansingburgh.
  • After the American revolution, this bridge was
    found buried down. Well, this is then replaced
    with a steel bridge which is known as Waterford
    Bridge.

Kingston Bridge
  • This bridge is located in Somerset County, New
    Jersey. After the Old Stone Arch Bridge, this
    bridge is the second oldest bridges in the United
    States.
  • Initially, there was a wooden bridge which
    replaced by Kingston Bridge in 1798.

Skippack Bridge
  • It is an eight-arch stone bridge that was built
    in 1792. Over the years, several renovations were
    done on this bridge.
  • Skippack connects eastern and western parts of
    Montgomery County.
