YFU Study Abroad Programs

• You can choose these programs for a year,
  semester or weeks.
• These programs allows you to immerse yourself
  into a different environment in terms of culture,
  language and experiences.
• You will live with host family who will open
  their home and hearts to you.

YFUs Academic Program

• Academic program is the best way to absorb a new
  culture.
• You can learn a new language through "whole
  language learning" activities.
• After getting into a new home, country and
  community you'll get more understanding and
  perspective about the new culture.

YFUs Summer Program

•  YFU summer programs are homestay programs, where
  youll live with a host family and participate in
  family activities throughout the summer.  
• You can spend your summer months by exploring the
  diverse culture of India, high enriched culture
  of Japan, landscapes and nature of Greece etc.
  with local family under YFU summer programs.
•  Duration of summer programs is three to eight
  weeks most leave in mid-June.

Classroom Excursion

• It is generally a 2-3 week program which engages
  teachers and students with different workshops
  and excursions.
• Under this program you can travel around the
  world with your classmates.
• It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to fully
  immerse yourself into a new culture while touring
  a high school program group of your friends or a
  class.

Specialty Programs

• Under YFUs Specialty Programs, explore your
  creativity in your interested field whether it is
  arts, music, sports or nature.
• You can focus on pencil drawing, pottery,
  metalwork, woodcarving etc.
• You can participate in coursework and activities
  that will stretch your creativity and increase
  skills.
