AU urges inclusive dialogue to resolve crisis in
Burundi
Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Chairperson of the AU
Commission, is deeply concerned by the escalation
of violence in Burundi, illustrated by Fridays
attacks against military camps in the capital,
Bujumbura, and in the Bujumbura Rural area, as
well as by the subsequent acts of violence, said

Tension builds in northern Nigeria amid clash
with sect
A Xinhua reporter said there had been heavy
fighting in Zaria of the northern Kaduna State
from Saturday night into the early hours of
Sunday as the Nigerian Army laid siege on the
Gyallesu residence of the leader of the Islamic
Movement of Nigeria, also known as Shiíte, Sheik
El-Zakzaky.
