    college prep, AP or Honors courses.
  • We will fill in courses together and you will
    sign your form before leave today.
  • A grade of C or better required to move up to
    next level.
  • Courses with a (P) require current subject area
    teacher signature.

  • You must try out for all sports except

Advanced Placement Honors
  • There is a new application process for AP/Honors
    courses this year, but not necessary for 9th
    graders.
  • You should expect to have summer homework for
    each course.
  • Placement in AP/Honors courses are based on your
    standardized test scores and GPA, so always do
    your best!

Physical Education Information
  • If you dont complete 20 credits of Phys Ed by
    the end of 10th grade, you MUST take PE in 11th
    and/or 12th grade.
  • Bowling, Weights and Pilates do not count as PE
    credits!
  • Marching band, pep squad and drill team do count
    for PE credit!
  • If trying out for a sport, you are making a big
    commitment! You will get a letter over the summer
    explaining athletic packet and physical that must
    be taken before try outs.

Summer Options are Limited
  • If you are going to be in Leadership, Performing
    Arts, and/or a foreign language and there is no
    room in your schedule for health, you will need
    to take it over the summer.
  • Visit the Simi High Counseling Website in
    mid-April for required forms giving permission.

Registration Forms Due
  • We will be back to pick up your forms throuh
    history classes on
  • Thursday, March 12th
  • You must bring your SIGNED registration form
    back!
  • You can turn reg. form in early to your history
    teacher once completed.
  • You will be meeting with your counselor
    individually to review your completed form on
    March 12th.

  • If you have any burning questions before then,
    best thing to do is email your counselor or write
    it down on back of form so you can ask on
    Thursday.
  • Choose courses and alternates carefully!
  • PARENT AND TEACHER SIGNATURES are very important
    !!!
  • Do not be absent on pick-up day!
  • No form? We choose for you!
