  • Full units are taught for the whole year
  • Half Units are taught for one term

  • Four full credit units per year
  • Compulsory must PASS to progress
  • Core must take
  • Exam must have completed 50 of coursework
  • Progression pass 3 units each year
  • Weighting 012 for degree classification

Specialisms
  • Follow single honours first year
  • For second year MN220 is compulsory and for the
    third year MN330 is core
  • Second year take pre-requisites for specialism
    e.g. if Marketing then take MN206
  • Third year take the prescribed 2 units from
    specialism group

Important Points
  • Only take courses that match your year status
    e.g. 1st years take 1st year courses
  • Only 2 floating units over course of degree
  • Most second and third year units will have
    pre-requisites
  • Pass mark is 40
  • There is only ONE repeat/resit chance

Terminology
  • REPEAT taking the whole course again, lectures,
    workshops, coursework, exam
  • RESIT resitting the exam or re-submitting
    missing/failed coursework (50 cap)
  • AL allowed for medical and special
    circumstances mark is removed from calculation
  • IN incomplete and must repeat at the next
    opportunity

  • No changes will be made in the first term
