  • A Conceptual Framework is the underlying
    philosophy of a discipline.
  • The Conceptual Framework of the College of
    Education Professional Studies describes the
    philosophy by which teachers and other
    professional school personnel are developed.
  • The term Creative Decision Maker is used to
    articulate the philosophical principles governing
    the preparation of P-12 teachers and other
    professional school personnel in the College of
    Education Professional Studies.

The Creative Decision Maker
  • Creative implies the education professional goes

    through which learning can take place.
  • Decision Maker denotes the ability to make
    choices, draw conclusions, resolve issues, assess
    knowledge and skills, evaluate the results, and
    use these results to make judgments regarding the
    educational process.
