3THE CSLI HYPOTHESIS
The CSLI Hypothesis The study of Information
and its roles in guiding Action must be
interdisciplinary. The humanities, social
sciences, computer science and engineering all
have knowledge, expertise, methodologies, and
tools to contribute to their study. CSLI was
founded in 1983 to be a place where researchers
from all these disciplines, and others, could
interact, learn from one another, and
collaborate.
