12GUIDELINES FOR VACANCIES CAUSED BY INCREASED
STUDENT ENROLLMENT FROM CHARTER SCHOOLS2004-2005
SCHOOL YEAR Mrs. C. Gibson
- Identify the total number of students who may
enroll at your school fro the charter school. - Determine the number of vacancies before
including those caused by the charter school
students. - Identify existing staff to fill all vacancies.
- Once existing staff has been assigned to
vacancies, than list the remaining vacancies. - Vacancy list should include grade level/subject
and number of vacancies, i.e., English Teachers - (4 1-9th Grade, 3-10th Grade), 2-First Grade
Teachers, 3-Security Guards 1-TCHS-Holland
Annex 1 King-TCHS Annex 2 St. Joes-TCHS Annex.
13- Once list is submitted to Human Resources, no
changes are made. - Only Human Resources will make changes to list
after consultation with the administrator. - All existing staff, who are currently in the
school or department or requesting a voluntary
transfer, must be placed in the vacancies no
later than June 10th. This date is only in the
TEA contract, but will be used to satisfy all
existing staff movement and placement.
