Tailoring

• Short attention span?
• Newsround approach punchy, current, explained
  simply, interactive, roving reporters.
• Low self esteem?
• Personalise the topic, appropriate language, keep
  it simple, check the GCSE curriculum, relate to
  the big issues pupils are interested in, value
  their opinions
• Concerns over finance?
• Give examples of careers that a degree in your
  field could lead to and increased sense of
  opportunity at the end of the session
