Title: The Evangelism System
1The Evangelism System
- The Evangelism System controls how many and who
can connect to the church and the Lord - With the emphasis on connecting to the Lord
2Symptoms of Evangelism Barrier
- Non Christians dont come, they feel judged
immediately - People examine the visitor, the cloths, manner,
or words - Legalism, lines instead of love
- Our way instead of meeting needs
- Few, if any, new people become Christians
3Churches that Evangelize

they are Christians - Accept people without approving of their
lifestyle - Look for the searching heart not the outward
appearance - Understand the difference between rules and laws
- There is a difference between preference
conviction - Explore all the ways people are drawn to God
4Evangelism Requires

with an individual and the church before they
trust the Savior you offer - Different people trust at different rates

in your church to trust Christ?
5Evangelism Requires(Cont)
- Information

volitional, and emotional agreement with Biblical
truth to become a Christian - The Biblical truth must be constantly presented
in a number of ways to allow for the saving
embrace of Christ - Different people ingest truth differently so we
must explain the simple gospel in a variety of
ways
6Evangelism Requires(Cont)
- Ministry of the Holy Spirit
- God is calling many in your city to repentance
and faith in Him. Will your church be a place
that he can send them for this life changing
work? - We must work with those who He is making ready,
not wish or hope others were ready - Aiming all our spiritual guns at the spiritually
resistant and neglecting those who are ready
7Evangelism Requires(cont)
- Ministry of the Holy Spirit (cont.)
- Regeneration is God in the Holy Spirit making a
person a new creature through deep confession,
turning away from sin and new faith in God - Regeneration is a God activity and we should help
the non-Christian do business with God at the
deepest level
8Evangelism Requires(cont)
- Exposes felt or real need
- People must see a need for God before they will
come to God - We must expand what they see to include the depth
of their need for God - When people come to your church do they regularly
realize that they need God in all kinds of ways
spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, personal,
etc.
9The Moment of Salvation
- When someone wants to become a Christian
