nuclear technologies for peaceful uses - to act as a forum for the exchange / sharing of
information - to encourage education on the nuclear sciences
- to enhance the professional and technical
capabilities of its members - to serve Canadian Nuclear Science, industry, and
the public by - organizing high quality conferences, general and
specific - organizing technical courses on subjects of
industry interest - organizing public seminars at its 12 branches on
topics of interest - sponsoring and or supporting science fairs,
scholarships, science camps, and equipment for
classrooms through the CNS Education Find

Teachers Course on Nuclear Energy, Journalism
Workshop of Scientific Reporting, AECLs Science
for Educators Seminar, and the Deep River
Science Academy - publishing the CNS Bulletin, a combined
technical journal and news magazine - recognizing individuals for their significant
achievements - co-operating with many other nuclear and
scientific societies - providing a communication link with government,
media, and the public on nuclear issues and by - maintaining an Internet Website (news,
information, events, job opportunities, members
resumes, links to other nuclear sites).
