Title: Do kids' clothes impact their personality development

1
Do kids' clothes impact their personality
development?
2
Like adults, kids too have their own choices in
what they want to wear and what they don't.
Unless its a toddler or an infant who highly
depends upon the parents to dress him/her, any
child who has gained consciousness of their own,
especially those aged 3 years and above, are not
so compliant to wear anything their guardians
want them to. Children are extremely expressive,
with their cute voices, body movements, and
clothes. All these factors, especially clothes,
contribute in developing their personality. Once
they are old enough to understand and question,
they will experiment with their clothing style to
express their identity and personality.

Indeed, Kids do need to be given a bit of
freedom to choose their clothes, but it's also
essential to see that they are dressed in
accordance with the weather and the occasion. A
good lot of reason goes into kids styling with
trendy Childrens Dresses, as this does affect
their personality development.  How? Lets find
out. Creativity enhancement Some kids like to
imitate their parents in their dressing style,
while some would like to dress like their
favorite character, and some wouldn't care whats
being put on them. All these reference
differences are indeed building up their
personality. Its good to let them have their
final word in dressing, as long as it doesnt
harm their health. Even if their choice of
clothing in kid's wear is not exactly appropriate
for the occasion, let them make it sometimes.
4
Sense of ResponsibilityWant your kids to grow up
as responsible critical thinking adults? Then
let them pick clothes, their color, texture,
pattern, etc. with complete freedom. Let them
decide if they prefer shorts over denim, or a
shirt over a t-shirt, or sliders over shoes. It
will give them a sense of responsibility that
what they wear will reflect them, making them
more appropriate and specific in their choices in
the future. Independence of thought When your
children are allowed the freedom to decide what
to wear, whether its mismatched plaids, printed
outfits, monochromatic outfits, or a minimal
outfit, it is developing their skills of
perception self-expression. It will also give
them the feeling of independence that they do not
have to rely on you to do the simple task of
choosing daily clothes and also save you from the
hassle of dressing up a fussy child.
5
Cultural ValuesIf your kids refuse to dress
according to g an event, let them choose their
clothes once. When they see other kids dressed
properly at the event, they will understand what
an appropriate outfit is for the occasion. This
works more effectively than forcing them to dress
in a certain way, which might lead to rebellion.
Let them learn and appreciate the cultural values
on their own.Strong CharacterLearning about your
child's current preferences, and supporting them,
can lead to an improvement in identifying
themselves. Rather than forcing your cute little
ones to wear what you like, interact with them
and explain the need of the situation. Their
individual preferences in terms of colors and
designs shouldn't be influenced by you, as these
preferences make them develop a strong character
and confidence to believe in their choice.
