The Germans said that this treaty caused anger
and resentment. The Germans also said their was
nothing in this treaty for them. So thats way
they just had to start the WAR. Then more
problems came about with the democratic
government, the Germans set up after WW1.
President Wilsons plane for Peace and The
hope of a world safe for democracy was not
happening!!! When the new democracies collapsed,
the dictators took the power.

Hows the US responding to all of this?????
  • As in WWI the US thought they shouldnt go into
    war
  • In 1939 France and Britain were fighting Hitler
so that would keep the US out of war for a while.

  • In 1940 a mutual defense treaty, The Tripartite
Pact was signed by Germany, Italy and Japan.
They became known as Axis powers. They were to
keep the US out of war.
  • So if the US did decide to go to war they would
need a ton of luck with having a 2-ocean war,
fighting both in the Atlantis and Pacific.
  • Germans fire on us bit thats not what brings the
    us to war.

8
What lead the US to war???
  • The British were busy fighting Hitler to take
care of the US. Japan already took over
Manchuria and was invading china. So only the US
and the Pacific islands were in the way of
    Japan.
  • The US military broke the Japans secret
communication code and found out that Japan was
    working on a strike.
  • Roosevelt warned everyone and sent out peace
acts, and then months later Japan rejects the
US peace proposals . Then Roosevelt said This
    means war.

    ended in death!!! Terrible!!!
