30Charter Approval Voting Process
- Use the current 51 Rule Voting Policy
- This voting policy will be used as the default
policy for voting on the Charter. If the Council
is formalized we can address changing voting
procedures and rules if needed for managing
Council business. - For the meeting each institution is represented
by one member and only gets one vote. A member
that represents more than one institution still
only gets one vote. - Approval requires 51 Yes votes of the total
number of representatives at todays meeting. - Example 30 representatives are present at
todays meeting, then we would need 16 Yes
votes in order to approve the charter and move
forward.
