3A Smashing Success!
- I just gave the bike to my son and he is just
going nuts about it. - The bike is stable, easy to scoot, and overall,
fun. - This is definitely a homerun once again for
PlaSmart. - It has an attractive design and I love the
inherent safety.
4Good way to start
- I got this for my soon to be 2 year old son. He
likes watching his big brother ride his bike, but
hasn't been able to join in. - After almost a week with it, he's doing good. It
took a few times of showing him how to get on it. - UPDATE He's flying up and down the hall on it
now. I don't think it's going to be hard at all
to transition to a regular bike. I'm not sure
he's going to want to! He rides this
daily.UPDATE One month later and he's still
riding it daily...
5It is the best balance bike for toddler 2yrs old
- Another benefits of using a balance bike is the
developmental benefits that it provides to
toddlers. - Study have shown toddlers who use a balance bike
for 20-30 minutes twice a week showed the
following improvements - - Substantial improvements in both static and
dynamic balance.- Substantial improvements in
bilateral coordination.- Observable improvements
in physical self-confidence.
6Big thumbs up - what a GREAT toy
- This bike is incredibly sturdy, and to give you
an example I will tell you about how it arrived. - Another big plus for me was that there is nothing
to put together - literally just lift it out of
the box and it's ready to go. - So what did a 21 month old rough and tumble
little boy think about it? He loved it. My nephew
ran right over to it and got right on top. It is
so stable and solidly built that he was able to
stay on top of it and race around the room. It
was a smashing success, and I cannot recommend
this product enough.
7Great starter balance bike, but don't require
much balance
- This is like a balance bike to get kids ready for
a real balance bike. - My 3 1/2 year old daughter enjoyed running it
around our finished basement. - My daughter likes it, but it is really mostly an
indoor toy. The wheels are plastic and there is
no brake. - It arrived in a box fully assembled requiring
nothing for me to do but remove one tag.
8The Positives
- Limited steering range helps kids turn the bike
without the chance of over steer and fall. - Handle bar is positioned much higher than the
seat for better riding posture. - Feats won't get caught in the wheels easily,
especially for the front wheel. - Less expensive than similar product.
9The Negatives
- Non-adjustable seat height.
- Non-adjustable handle bar height.
10Frequently Asked Questions
- Question
- We want to ride this outside. Are the wheels
noisy? Like the sound of old big wheel wheels
from when I was a kid? - Answer
- The wheels are plastic so, therefore, I must
assume that it would be noisy. This is a small
bike for toddlers (2-3) with no pedals. We let
our grandsons play with it in the house and have
never taken it outside.
11Frequently Asked Questions
- Question
- Can you use the plasma bike on hardwood floors if
it doesn't go outside? - Answer
- Yes my 3 year old used it on our hardwood floors
without issue. He's a big boy and got too tall
for it at around 18 months tho and when he
learned to right his tricycle. Good introductory
set of wheels tho.
