Cleaning your keyboard

• Tools compressed air, vacuum cleaner, cotton
  swabs, foam swabs and disinfectant cloth
• Prevents your keys from sticking.
• Ensures the life of your keyboard.
• Prevents the spread of germs to other users.

Cleaning your mouse and monitor

• Wipe your monitor with a soft cotton cloth and
  glass cleaner to prevent dust build-up.
• Clean your mechanical mouse by removing the
  underneath roller ball and wipe the inside. This
  removes all dust that can cause difficulty in
  moving your mouse.

Cleaning air filters

• The most serious dirt-related threat to your PC
  is dust in the fans.
• Not cleaning your air filters regularly will
  clog both power-supply and cooling fans.
• This can lead to serious overheating inside the
  case, which can cause component failure and,
  ultimately, data loss.
• Using compresses air clean your air filter by
  powering down your PC, removing the case lid, and
  locating the various fans. Starting with the
  power supply, blow through the internal slits
  from inside the chassis, aiming so dust will exit
  the back.

Disk Defragmentation

• Disk defragmentation is the process of
  reassembling files and folders in one location on
  a volume.
• A minimum of 15 free space on your hard disk is
  needed for Disk Defragmenter to run.
• Benefits are improved disk access because it
  consolidates most but not allof the volume's
  free space.
• Process Start/Run/Type cleanmgr /sageset1/ OK

• Unlike the standard desktop a laptop is not as
  easy to open and clean. There are 6 steps an

  cleaning your house. I have shown external and
  internal methods of maintaining the health of
  your computer.
• Dont forget the exterior cleaning is just as
  important as the internal components.
• A clean computer is a happy computer!
