  hormones) from one location to another

Open Circulatory Systems

• Blood is pumped into the body cavity where it
  surrounds all of the cells.
• Blood returns to the circulatory system to be
  re-pumped back out
• Found in invertebrates like grasshoppers

• Vessels Arteries, Veins, Capillaries
• Most of the blood remains inside vessels How
  does that differ from an open circulatory system?
• Lymph System -Fluids leak out of capillaries and
  are collected and returned by the Lymph System
