    inappropriate choices are made. If this should
    happen, consequences will be determined
    accordingly. They could include

  • Class Meetings occur on a weekly basis and as
    needed throughout the school year. Class
    Meetings allow for both students and the teacher
    to reflect upon the school week and/or events
    outside of the school day.
  • Community Time
  • Following Friday Class Meetings, students have
    the opportunity to participate in Community Time.
    Students are encouraged to engage in activities
    with their peers, rather than play independently.

    2nd grade.

  • Pretest AND Posttest on THURSDAYS
  • The Pretest will come home in your childs Friday
    Folder. You will notice either a T or a B at the
    top of your childs paper. The T indicates your
    child needs to study the TOP section of the
    spelling list, plus the Commonly Misspelled Words
    and Challenge Words. The B indicates your child
    needs to study the BOTTOM section of the spelling
    list, plus the Commonly Misspelled Words and
    Challenge Words.
  • Spelling Lists will be emailed.
  • Regular Word List (80 or less TOP section of
    paper)
  • Alternate Word List (90 or better BOTTOM section
    of paper)
