Part 1.1
  • As an element of Right( A human rights-based
    approach to SRH and HIV/AIDS programming demands
    the involvement of the most affected)
  • Inclusiveness (active and meaningful
    participation of ALL is a Democratic Principle.
  • Articles 12 and 13 of CRC affirms the right of
    children and adolescents to be heard and
    participate in decisions that affect their lives
  • ICPD PoA aligns to a Human Rights perspective.
    Sets youth fullicipation (full and meaningful
    involvement) of youth as a pillar further, calls
    for the mentorship capacity development of
    youth
