    interpersonal activity designed to coordinate
    tasks.
  • Power is the ability of a person to influence
    others and overcome resistance.
  • Legitimate authority is power authorized formally
    by the organization.
  • Bureaucratic authority is power vested in
    supervisors and managers by virtue of rules.
