• gravitational force the attraction due to

  astronomical object exerts on an object on or
  near its surface
• Example when a basketball player jumps up.

• Magnetic force is a force between two magnets
  with space in the middle
• Ex the magnetic trains in foreign countries

• When force is transferred from one object to
  another
• EX when somebody touches another person or
  object.

Newton's first law of motion

• An object at rest stays at rest and an object in
  motion stays in motion with the same speed and in
  the same direction unless acted upon by an
  unbalanced force
• Ex in football when somebody
• Gets tackled

Newtons second law

• The acceleration of an object as produced by a
  net force is directly proportional to the
  magnitude of the net force, in the same direction
  as the net force, and inversely proportional to
  the mass of the object
• Ex when some body is pushing a store cart at
  Wal-Mart

• For every action, there is an equal and opposite
  reaction
• Ex when somebody blows up a
• balloon and holds it then lets go
• and it starts flying
