Title: Hannah Jobe; The Dynamics of Newtons Laws

1
The Dynamics of Newtons Laws
  • By Hannah Jobe

2
Magnetic Force
  • A magnetic force is a force that is produced by
    electric charge.
  • An example would be trying to stick two opposite
sides of magnets together and feeling the force
    between them.

3
Electric Force
  • An electric force is a force that results from
    electron repulsion of two objects.
  • An example would be a push or shove. Also, the
force between an automobiles tires and the road.

4
Gravitational Force
  • A gravitational force is the force that pulls
objects to the ground. Plus, it is the weakest of
    the visual forces.
  • An example of this would be throwing a football.
It will eventually come down to the ground from
    gravity.

5
Weak Interaction Nuclear Force
  • These are the forces that arent visible to the
human eye. We can only see them with a
microscope. Plus, they are to small to interact
with anything because they are inside the nucleus
    of a cell.

6
Newtons First Law
  • Newtons first law states that an object that is
at rest ends to stay at rest, and an object in
motion tends to stay in motion, with the same
    direction and speed.
  • An example of this would be throwing a football
    or Frisbee.

7
Newtons Second Law
  • Newtons second law states that the acceleration
of an object is produced by a net(total) applied
force is directly related to the magnitude of the
    force.
  • An example of this is nailing nails into boards
    with a hammer.

8
Newtons Third Law
  • Newtons third law states that for every
action(force) there is an equal and opposite
    reaction(force).
  • An example would be sitting in a chair because
you have to have an equal amount of force of
holding yourself up and sitting yourself down as
you sit in the chair so it wont collapse.

9
FMA
  • The formula FMA is stating force equals mass
    times acceleration.
  • An example of this would be nailing nails into
boards because you have to use a hammer which is
the acceleration and then how big the hammer is
creates mass and then it all creates a force.

10
MF/A
  • The formula MF/A is stating that mass equals
    force divided by acceleration.
  • An example would be pushing someone in a chair
because the force is the person pushing then the
acceleration is how big or small the person is
and it all equals the mass by how far or long
    they travel.

11
AF/M
  • The formula AF/M states that acceleration equals
    force divided by mass.
  • An example of this would be a small car going at
    a fast speed.

12
WMG
  • This formula states weight equals mass times
    gravity.
  • An example of this would be person jumping off a
    diving board.

13
MW/G
  • This formula states that mass equals weight
    divided by gravity.
  • An example of this formula would be someone
smaller size jumping of a cliff.

14
GW/M
  • This formula states that gravity equals weight
    divided by mass.
  • An example of this formula would be dropping a
marble from the top of a building.
