  parallel with the dairy industry.

The Process

• First, all of the bakery products are unloaded
  onto a concrete dock.
• Second, the driver of a skid-steer loader spins
  around on the bakery products in order to break
  open individual packaging.
• Third, the products are moved to a staging area
  for the hammer mill.

The Process Continued

• Fourth, a second skid-steer loader inserts
  varying amounts of each type of bakery product
  into the hammer mill.
• Fifth, the hammer mill crushes the packaging and
  product into small pieces.
• Sixth, smaller particles travel directly to the
  feed area, while larger particles and packaging
  enter a rotating separator.

The Process Continued

• Seventh, the rotating separator allows the
  product to fall through to a conveyor belt, while
  trapping packaging and metal ties.
• Eighth, a high power vacuum collects all
  packaging, while large magnets collect the metal
  ties.
• Ninth, the feed is sent back through the process
  two times more to remove all debris and ensure
  consistency.
