Title: Green Environment Show :)
1Green Environment
- How to protect our environment?
2Importance of recycle
I WILL
Recycling is one means of ensuring that the items
we've finished using get returned to the
resources pool and either get turned into
something else or are cleaned and reused.
Recycling helps to conserve raw materials and
often helps to save on additional energy that
manufacturers would otherwise use in producing
new products from scratch. Recycling also reduces
the amount of material going into landfills,
which is a big bonus given that many countries
are fast running out of space for landfill. In
addition, recycling can lessen pollution involved
in waste disposal and reducing the consumption of
raw materials helps to conserve our natural
resources.
3I do not burn plastics, staerophones and other
materials that could harm our mother earth
especially the non-biodegradables.
PLASTIC BAGS NEVER BE BURN !
- The bad effects of burning PLASTICS!
Many plastics, particularly PVC when burned
results in emissions of the deadly poison named
dioxin. Dioxin is a toxic organic chemical that
contains chlorine and is produced when chlorine
and hydrocarbons are heated at high temperatures.
To inhalate dioxin or to be exposed anyway to its
fumes can cause many deadly results.
4I will follow the proper segregation of garbage
to avoid pollution.
- Waste Management
- Ultimately waste segregation boils down to waste
management. Waste management is the process of
disposing, processing, recycling and refining
waste materials. Waste segregation is a big part
of the waste management process.
- Recyclables
- Paper, cardboard, glass, metal and certain types
of plastics can all be recycled. These items are
segregated from non-recyclables by homeowners and
waste management companies so that they can be
reused.
- Batteries
- Batteries are a huge source of toxins that can be
spread into the environment if not segregated and
recycled accordingly. Certain states have set up
designated locations for people to drop off used
batteries.
- Biodegradable
- Biodegradable items such as yard clippings or
grass, food and other things that can be
naturally broken down are separated in the waste
segregation process. Often, these biodegradable
items can be used for composting purposes and
recycled back into the environment.
- Electronics
- Electronic items such as computers, televisions
and stereos are other forms of waste that can be
segregated and recycled. Many states have set up
electronics collection centers to recycle these
products.
5I will Maintain the cleanliness of my
surroundings canals.
- We must clean our canals because of mosquitoes
that can caused us a dengue and malaria and also
the increasing of rats that can cause us a
Leptospirosis.
6I will save trees and make a slogan that
advocates to Avoid the illegal logging.
7I will advocates STOP kaingin System, STOP
mining, STOP dynamite fishing and STOP
deforestation .
8I Will Protest Against Big Industries Producing
too much Carbon into the Atmosphere.
CFC products are not allowed nor used as they
destroy the ozone layer.
I Will Stop using spray products with CFC's
9I Will Conserve our water!
Our water comes from rivers and groundwater so
every drop we use has a direct effect on the
environment. Fish, wetland birds and other
wildlife that rely on ponds, rivers and streams
struggle to survive when these dry up or run low.
Sources of food and breeding sites for wildlife
can be lost and fish can die through lack of
oxygen.
10I will Turn off the lights after I use it.
11 PICK UP DIRT!
