About Transfer case
Transfer case is a device of car that works with
transmission in four wheel drive and all-wheel
drive Vehicles. it is also named as Transfer
gearbox.

Function

• The transfer Case via drive shafts connects to
  the transmission and front and rear car axles.
• Transfer case receives power from transmission
  through the drive shafts and distributes it to
  the front and rear axles. This assists permit all
  four wheels to obtain torque concurrently.

Transfer Case Problems

• Grinding or Thumping noises
• Difficulty in shifting gears, a bent, binding or
  loose shaft linkage

Troubleshooting Techniques
Place your car on jack stand check the catalytic
converter for any liquids if your any liquid in
the pan then it might be lubricant leaking
problem. if this is the case then that needs
replacements. Remove the exhaust system down
pipe in the car. Then remove the Transfer Case
from the car to check for any repairs. Check the
transfer case for indications of wear or damages.
worn or damaged parts must be replaced. Then
reinstall the transfer cases, exhaust system down
pipe tightly. Go for the test drive to check
whether the car running smoothly.
