The SAIL Partnership

• established in 1999 with six principal partners
• based on ICZM Demonstration Projects (1996-1999)
  in West Flanders and Kent plus cross-border
  initiatives between Kent and Nord-Pas de Calais,
  and between Flanders and Zeeland
• 14 principal partners in 2005 and expanding
• over 700 secondary partners
• expenditure since 2000 of approx 16 million EUR
