Association of Defense Communities (ADC) The
Association of Defense Communities (ADC),
formerly known as NAID, is the voice for
communities and states with a significant
military presence. As the nations premiere
membership organization serving Americas defense
communities, ADCs 1,200 members unite the
diverse interests of communities, state
government, the private sector, and the military
on issues of base closure, community military
partnerships, defense real estate, mission
growth, mission sustainment, military
privatization, and redevelopment/realignment. www

- Annual Conference Attended by 1000 community
leaders, military officials and the private
sector, ADCs Annual Conference has 4 days of
sessions, tours of projects, an exhibit hall and
great networking events - Winter Forum Held annually in February/March,
the forum focuses on special topics or issues
facing communities, the military and the private
sector - Specialty Conferences Throughout the year, ADC
hosts numerous policy and outreach events
centered around popular issues facing defense
communities - Defense Communities 360 Our weekly e-mail
newsletter provides perspectives on the news and
issues facing communities with active or closed
military installations and the private sector
