2Mission
- The US Army Command and General Staff College
educates and develops leaders for full spectrum
joint, interagency and multinational operations
and advances the art and science of the
profession of arms in order to support the
operational requirements of the Army.
3CGSC Responsibilities Functions IAW TR 10-5-4
- Develop leaders prepared to execute full
spectrum, JIM operations. - Advance the military art and science.
- Support operational requirements
- Provide a Master of Military Art and Science
(MMAS) Degree Program - Serve as CAC lead for the Army Leader Development
and Education Program and PME program executed
through the CAL. - ICW CALL participate in L2I assist with lessons
learned validation integrate high value lessons
learned information within appropriate POI and
curricula to ensure relevant and most current
operational insights, lessons, and TTP are
provided to CGSS and SAMS students.
