Council What Hussein Ali Saleh, the Council
Chairman, ran the council meeting in Hawija.
During the meeting, the council prioritized the
projects that they wanted to complete using funds
allocated to their sub-district. The council
selected 9 schools to be renovated in the area.
Over the next couple of weeks, engineers will be
sent out to develop tenders for each of the
schools. Why/Significance The councils
ability to organize and manage a budget is an
important step in rebuilding the infrastructure
