What Megan Did

• I worked with Eric to assemble the childrens
  computer back to normal. The computer had a
  regular keyboard, not the one designed for the
  structure, and had many wires that needed to be
  adjusted, organized, and replaced. I also cleaned
  the structure surrounding the computer.
• Next to the childrens computer are many
  computer game CDs piled high and un-organized. I
  organized them by placing each CD in its correct
  case and creating neat piles.
• Hopefully in the future, I can download
  childrens games that do not need to have the CD
  placed in the computer each time a child wants to
  play. Also, for those CDs that do need that, I
  can create a better system.

What Megan Did

• There is a box of photos that need to be scanned
  and saved onto one of the computers in the office
  at the House.
• The process is a long one, as scanning each photo
  takes a lot of time, and on top of that the
  computer is extremely slow.
• Also, each group of photos in the box are labeled
  by what child is in them, but the event happening
  in the picture and the date is not always known.
  We must do our best to figure out that
  information, so that we can save each picture
  based on that information.

Megans Experience So Far

• I really enjoy helping out at the Ronald McDonald
  House. Everyone is so grateful for our help, and
  Tina especially is very helpful when needed.
• My last visit was during the birthday party for
  one of the kids who used to use the house. Tina
  invited us to sing for the boy.
• I enjoy being around the people I am helping and
  enjoy being able to see the effect of our work.
  (Hopefully I will be able to see kids use the
  computer once we are finished with it!)
