For the benefit of Vermont,
- the Vermont State Colleges provide affordable,
high quality, student-centered and accessible
education, fully integrating professional,
liberal, and career study.

- With over 19,000 students enrolled annually,
- VSC Students (Fall 2007)
- 82.5 are Vermonters.
- 51 are first generation neither parent has a
Bachelors Degree. - 38 are over the age of 25.
- 559 are high school students.
- FTE Growth Fall 2000 to Fall 2007 39
increase. - 58 of Vermonters attending college in Vermont go
to the VSC. - VSC has 2300 employees 5th largest VT employer.

technical and leadership areas. The division has
a commitment to flexibility, world-class quality
and customer-focused accessibility.

mission is to support the economic health and
development of the State and its citizens by
providing the technical infrastructure and
operational expertise necessary to deliver
education, training and information equally to
all areas of the State.
