Terms of the Treaty

• Article 231 War Guilt Clause Germany had to
  accept responsibility for causing the war.
• Germans had to pay reparations for all damages
  and deaths during the war. (6,600 million)
• Germans not allowed to have military forces on
  the Rhineland.
• Germany was to limit its army to 100,000 troops,
  no air force, submarines, tanks or navy.

• Germany lost its colonies.
• Land was taken from Germany by Poland, France and
  Belgium.
• Germany was split because land was given to
  Poland.
