Women

• Women were taught that they should be obedient
  to their fathers and husbands.

Men

• Men in the Renaissance became businessmen
  very often .

Children

• Children were generally miniatures of their
  parents and were expected to dress, talk, and act
  as adults.

Girls

• They wore a chemise which is a long, white
  garment resembling a nightdress, and stockings.

Boys
All of the tasks had to be done manually, and the
responsibility was usually split equally among
the younger boys and even sometimes girls.

Houses

• Most homes had dirt floors.
• A lucky few peasants lined the dirt with rushes.
• Much of the time, peasants lived on land owned by
  someone else and paid rent to live there, as well
  as working the land for its owner.
