3Nile River
- The Nile River is the longest river on earth.
The Nile River flows from south to north. It goes
to reach the delta. The Egyptians used the Nile
as a source to grow barley, wheat, flax, and
other crops. They were also happy when the river
flooded because when the water level dropped the
land would have beautiful rich soil. The desert
that runs a long the Nile is called the Red
Lands. The Nile River is also known as the
Father of Life and Mother of all Men. All
kinds of animals lived near the Nile. There were
ducks, geese, water and nesting birds,
crocodiles, and hippos. The plants that grew
there were lotus, reeds, and papyrus.

Reflection I learned how to hyperlink and how to
insert cropped pictures. I learned who the
Egyptians served and how they ate. I also learned
what they do to make shelter and things they used
for hunting. I really am glad you read my slide
show and learned as much as I did on Ancient
Egypt.
