Directions
  • The following slides will include various
    pictures.
  • Each picture will be classified as either an
    example or a non-example.
  • Your job is to figure out the difference between
    the examples and the non-examples.
  • But, if you think you know it, please dont say
    it out loud until the conclusion of the activity.

  • On your handout, write the name of the object
    that appears on each slide in the appropriate
    column (either example or non-example).
  • Then, jot down the first few things that come to
    mind when you think of the object. Write down at
    least four things about each object.
  • Lets do a practice slide. Dont write down this
    next example well do it together out loud.
