Before you begin
  • Prior to working on your portfolio your
    content knowledge and your child development
    essays saved as word documents. Suggestion save
    them as word 97- 2003 documents and name them
    content knowledge and child development. If you
    are going to work on various computers for your
    portfolio make sure you save the files on a disk
    or flash drive as well as on your own computer.

Activating your account
  • You should receive an email explaining how to
    activate your account at iwebfolio.com.

Create a New Portfolio
  • Select My Portfolios from the navigation bar on
    the left side of your screen. Click Create New
    Portfolio.

Create a New Portfolio
  • When asked if you want to use a template, select
    Yes. You will be using the TCP 2008. Click
    select.

Default Permission
  • The next screen will tell you that Mrs. Comerford
    and Mr. Vachon have permission to view your
    portfolio. They will only see it once you have
    submitted it. Click next.

Portfolio Information
  • The title of your portfolio will be filled in for
    you. Click Save.

My Profile
  • On the left hand side you will see my profile.
    Click on that and in the right hand corner click
    on edit. You can update your biographical
    information.
  • Click save and return.

  • On the left hand side you will see Education
    Information. Click on that and in the right hand
    corner click on edit. You can update your
    education information.
  • Click save and return.

Phase One
  • On the left hand side click on Phase One.
  • You will see a table with a list of requirements
    for Phase One. To edit the table when the
    requirements are fulfilled click on edit and type
    in date completed.

My Files
  • You can easily upload and store many different
    kinds of files in your iWebfolio account for use
    in your portfolios including electronic
    documents, spreadsheets, digital photographs, and
    images.
  • Keep in mind that anyone who views your portfolio
    will need the appropriate software to view your
    files.

Adding your child development and content
knowledge essays
  • You are going to attach your essays. By now you
    should have them saved so that you can access
    them and put them into your portfolio.

  • To upload files to iWebfolio, select My Files
    from the navigation bar on the left side of your
    screen. Click Add New File. Notice that your
    files can be organized into folders.

  • Browse your computer hard drive, CD, or flash
    drive to locate the file that you wish to upload.
    Select your file and click Open.

  • If desired, you can locate a second file to be
    uploaded at the same time. Once you have
    selected your file(s) click Save.

Attaching Your Essays
Return to your portfolio and click on edit
portfolio. Click on Phase One. At the bottom
you will see Content Knowledge and Child
Development. You need to click on Add attachment.
When you click on add attachment you should see
your files listed in my files. Click on attach
next to your essays. Once you have attached the
files you should see them both listed at the
bottom

View Portfolio
  • Click View Portfolio in the upper right hand
    corner of your screen to view your completed
    portfolio!
