Four Organizational Forms

• Individual
• Voting
• Strong leader
• Consensus
• There is no best form

Mixed Organizational Forms

• Combination of 1 or more of Weinbergs 4
  organizational forms
• A team will embellish one form with an aspect of
  another to eliminate a forms weakness
• For any mixed method to work, the team members
  must agree that they will use that organization.

How Form Follows Function

• The most important lesson is that there is no
  organization that is always best for a team to
  use in making a decision.
• If the current form of organization isnt
  furthering the teams goals, the problem-solving
  leader starts looking for a new form.
