FACULTY ADVISOR
RADIO STUDENT Beta
  • - A volunteer faculty member of Masaryk
    University committed to the success of the
    project.
  • - Provides leadership and direction especially in
    areas of policy/rules adherence, strategic
    planning, student and faculty recruitment, fiscal
    management, and cooperation with the university.

GENERAL DIRECTOR

  • - Has full responsibility and authority of
    station operations and staff including
    administration, technics, programming, and
    development matters.
  • This is a part-time salaried position held by a
    student working 10 hours per week, or volunteer
    same as chief of Halas.

ADMINISTRATION
RADIO STUDENT Beta
  • - The Administration department is the
    back office of the organization.
  • - It is a combination of paid university
    staff / volunteer student position reporting to
    Faculty Advisor and General Director.
  • - Responsible for all bookkeeping,
    accounting, cash management, banking, accounts
    payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial
    reporting, and personnel records keeping.
  • - Meets regularly with department managers
    and the General Director, providing timely and
    accurate reports. Most of the regular operating
    expenses including are paid from here.

TECHNICS

  • - The Technics department keeps all the
    machines operating and the output of the station
    continuous.
  • - It is a combination university paid
    staff / volunteer student position reporting to
    the General Director responsible for all
    technical aspects of the operation and the people
    who enable it.
  • - As most needed equipment for start-up
    will be donated, annual expenses will include
    maintenance, repair, consumables, and purchase of
    new equipment.

  • The Program is the sound and images delivered to
    the audience.
  • Managed by a volunteer student reporting to the
    General Director, responsible for all
    broadcasting output and the people who produce
    it.

    subscriptions, dues,
  • and consumables.
