Hitlers Roots
  • Hitler began as a street painter in Vienna, but
lacked finesse, he applied twice to the Academy
Of Fine Arts Vienna, but was rejected.
  • He had, as a poor citizen, wrote a novel, titled
Mein Kampf, or My Struggle. It mainly focused
on Germanys failing struggle in WW I and that it
was the Jews fault. He had managed to get it
published, and it was an instant hit.
  • He had enlisted into the military and was an
    outstanding cadet. Despite the putrid
circumstances they were in, he never complained.

Hitlers Rise
  • Hitler had became the Chancellor of Germany in
January of 1933. He thought that he could promote
his idea of an Anti-Semitic world, where one race
(the Aryan) would conquer the world! He made
speeches around the country, and many people were
looking for an excuse for the depressing status
of their country, and so they believed himeven
though they were looking at the reason. He had
gotten an immense increase in popularity.

More Power
  • As the Nazis gained power in their marches,
Hitler got support from Franz von Papen, the
former German Chancellor. As Hitler was making
laws, such as the Enabling Act of March 23rd, in
where he gained dictatorial power. This Act
passed with the support of the Huguenbergian
German National People's Party (DNVP), a few
liberals, and all conservative and centrist
    deputies in the establishment-disabled and
effectively rigged Reichstag, a building in
    Berlin.
